Becoming a Computer Consultant
If you are the one always being recruited to help your friends fix their computers, you should be translating those skills into a paid career as a computer consultant. There are literally dozens of ways to do this, but most employers prefer at least a two- or four-year degree before they hire you to work on a help desk, as a systems analyst, programmer-analyst, or database administrator.
