Becoming a Computer Engineer
Computer engineers are generally broken into two categories: hardware engineers and software engineers. Computer hardware engineers often hold degrees in computer engineering or electrical engineering, whereas computer software engineers likely earned degrees in computer sciences or software engineering. (Those who major in computer engineering often work in hardware even though they are equally qualified to work with and design software.)
