Cambridge, MA Schools and Universities
Cambridge is a unique city down to even its demographics. More than 100,00 people live in a six-and-a-half square mile area, which makes for a stunning display of social and cultural diversity and interaction. The city calls itself the "spirited, slightly mischievous side of Boston," which is just a short trip over the river. And two of the best centers for higher education in the world-Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)-give the city a youthful, multicultural feel. In fact, these two universities are part of what structure the "squares" of Cambridge-arrangements of diverse areas in which spirited restaurants and shops compete for attention, and visitors can take in all that the city has to offer. The squares are as distinct from one another as.well, Cambridge is to Boston. For instance, Inman Square is home to restaurants of all influences and shopping to parallel them, while Kendall Square-where you'll find MIT-is focused on high tech and biotechnology industries. Doesn't it seem like you'd find a place for yourself somewhere in Cambridge?
