Clinical Laboratory Technician Career Working Environment
The exact area of the laboratory depends upon the size of the hospital and its budget. Hence a technician could find him or herself in a spacious lab or a hole in the wall. Some bigger hospitals operate continually, and technician's hours would naturally reflect that. They could work in the day, night, weekends, and even on holidays. Some hospitals may even require their clinical lab technicians to be on call on certain days. Laboratories tend to be well lit and clean.
