Computer Scientist Career Working Environment
Computer scientists typically work in offices or laboratories in comfortable surroundings. They usually 40 hours a week, but this may include evening or weekend work to meet deadlines or solve specific problems. Telecommuting is common for computer professionals. Like other workers who spend large amounts of time in front of a computer terminal typing at a keyboard, they are susceptible to eyestrain, back discomfort and hand and wrist problems.
