Exhibit Designer Career Specializations
Some of these workers are known as set and exhibit designers; these designers create sets for movie, television and theater productions and design special exhibition displays. Set designers study scripts, confer with directors and other designers and conduct research to determine the appropriate historical period, fashion and architectural styles. They then produce sketches or scale models to guide in the construction of the actual sets or exhibit spaces.
In addition to designing sets for special exhibits, movies, television and theater productions, these designers may design displays to decorate streets, fairgrounds, buildings or other places for celebrations.
