Interior Designer Career Description
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) defines an interior designer as one who is "professionally trained to create a functional and quality interior environment." Interior designers combine practical knowledge with artistic ability to turn abstract ideas into formal designs for the living and office spaces we inhabit.
Interior Designers are concerned with human interaction or human behavior and decoration. That is primarily the realm of the interior designer. Interior designers typically go beyond aesthetics that to provide further input on the functionality, efficiency, and safety of a space.
