OK, we know the Mall of America-the largest mall known to mankind-is in Minneapolis, but let's put aside visions of shopping for a moment, because the city has more to offer than a Starbucks every three storefronts. In fact, the lures of Minneapolis are those of a more personal nature-the kind of attractions you'd want to go to with family and close friends, much as the residents of the city do. These are annual events like the Powderhorn Festival of the Arts and the Fringe Festival. And the city celebrates Independence Day and New Year's Eve with fireworks every year. Isn't this the sort of city in which you'd like to live? (You can admit it's partially because of the shopping).
