Pharmacy Technician Career Description

Pharmacy technicians assist licensed pharmacists as well as provide medication and other healthcare products to patients. Their workday tends to be relatively standard with respect to the tasks they go about performing. The majority work in retail pharmacies, but some pharmacy technicians may work in hospitals. Hospital work, however, tends to have a different feel. Overall the pay is quite good and the field itself is growing.
